Happy Halloween!

I made this Halloween-treatbag in Susanne's open online crop. I enjoyed it so much and what I like most about it is the fact that this little bag can be used for any other occasions, just with different supplies.

Birthday card

Finally I've made a birthday card again, after a long time! It's quite a simple one, but I must admit my crafting style has a bit changed during the past two years. I'm not patient anymore for cards with lots of details... anyway, I hope the birthday girl likes my card. At least I had fun creating it, and I think that's what counts most!

More travelling

September was quite busy for me... mainly due to the beginning of a new schoolyear.

In mid September my family and I went on a weekend trip to the mountains, to Bad Aussee. Weather was fantastic: warm and sunny. What a lovely scenery there was! It was also funny to see many people in traditional costumes there - "Dirndl" for women and "Lederhose" for men.

In the third week of September I went on language trip to Malta with our students from 4th grade. An amazing experience for all of us! Malta is such a wonderful place to discover, I loved it. Whereas it was already autumn in Austria, we escaped to the south for spending a week in the heat, surrounded by the sea and lovely places to visit. We were especially impressed by one of the beaches we once visited... what a dark yellow sand it had!

Long time no see!

Hi everybody out there!

A long time has passed since my last blog entry! In summer my PC had a severe crash and was not able to be fixed anymore, so I needed a new one - that needed too long a time, as the PC shops (who have to install everything for us as hubby and I are not really talented with things like that) were booked out due to the beginning of the new schoolyear, where so many students needed a laptop for school.

I spent the last weeks of my summer holidays with some travelling - and enjoyed it! Hubby and I visited Amsterdam for a few days. What an amazing city! Lots of water, bicycles, cheese,... one of our fave activities was the canal cruise... a visit to Hardrock Café... and we also managed to visit the Anne Frank House, where there are always long queues before the entrance. I've been interested in the story of Anne Frank since I was a teenager, so I was really touched to finally visit the museum.

At the end of August I visited my fave city here in Austria, Salzburg. A dear friend of mine made a dream come true and left her home near Vienna to live in the city center of Salzburg - so lovely! As we both like to visit cemeteries, we went to see St.Sebastian's cemetery where we found the grave of Mozart's widow, Constanze Mozart (she married again after Mozart's early death so you can see her other surname on the grave). Btw, Mozart himself was buried in Vienna that's why you won't find his name on this grave here.

The other Salzburg photo shows one of my fave views... the amazing fortress of Hohensalzburg seen from the end of Mirabellgarten. Isn't it just great?! I could have sat there for hours, watching the lovely scene!
