It's still summer!!

What a lousy summer this has been so far! June - when we still needed to go to school - was just perfect; July and August way too cold and rainy. I'm hoping for a nice rest of the summer holidays! Three more weeks to go!

Sigh...

Hello again after a little break,

how annoying - for a while I have been unable to upload photos and this was the main reason for my blogging break. I really hope we will be able to fix that problem soon! For me, a blog entry without a photo just isn't the same, and so I need to take photos from the web until everything is fixed again.

So, what has happened so far... we spent a week in Egypt, which was lovely - very relaxing, but also extremely hot, with temperatures around 38-40°C and a strong desert wind every day. I enjoyed it so much to read a few books: two thrillers, "Weißes Licht" by Marina Heib (available only in German) and "Blutige Stille" (original version: "Pray for Silence") by Linda Castillo, and in the end a lovestory again after a long time: "Zwei an einem Tag" by David Nicholls. The original version is named "One day", in fact a bestseller, which will be in the movies later this year, starring Anne Hathaway- looking forward to it!

At the moment I'm reading "Eat, Pray, Love" which was also in the movies (starring Julia Roberts), but which I had missed back then, so now a DVD is still waiting for me to watch.
